The VW Beetle convertible models are fitted with a chrome frame around the door windows and the rear side windows.

The chrome frame is clamped over the window with a U-shaped rubber. No glue is needed for this.

As a lubricant for fitting you may only use glycerine! Other greases or oils can contain components that attack the rubber and cause the rubber to dry out quickly.

The rubber seals for the window frames have pre-formed corners, as on the original.
