The sealed beam is a complete unit with reflector, lamp and lens. The advantage of this solution is that when replacing the lamp, a new reflector and new lens are supplied at the same time. Sealed-beam lighting does not have the E-mark. Most often these units are replaced by the 4000600 headlight unit, which has the same dimensions but does have the E-mark.

Sealed beams are available in 6 volt and 12 volt.
