It often happens that the cover is lost during restoration or so badly damaged that repair is no longer possible. Many people seal the edges of the cover, after which the paint is applied. We advise you not to do this, but to place the cover loose and then push it into the hole. If an inspection is required later, you can remove the cover without major paint damage.

The cover clamps into a 55 mm hole (the outer diameter of the cover is 55.6 mm, in case you want to use it for another purpose). Supplied each.
