The most exclusive steering wheel in the collection is the banjo steering wheel, which originally dates from the 1950s and was available as an accessory for our Volkswagen Beetle and Karmann Ghia, but was also fitted as standard in the Hebmüller and Porsche 356A.

The true connoisseur will know that a used original has become almost priceless, i.e. an original banjo steering wheel is practically untraceable. But the good news is that the banjo steering wheel is back in production, albeit as a reproduction.

This banjo steering wheel is 100% identical to the original Petri banjo steering wheel, meaning the removed horn caps and steering hubs also fit the original without problems.

The steering wheel is supplied without the horn cap, but with a horn cap with Wolfsburg logo. If you prefer an authentic horn cap with which the banjo steering wheel was supplied, look in our shop, where you can find a list of reproductions of these horn caps.
