In the cold season the heater of the air-cooled Volkswagen is more than enough, but in the hot summer months you have to do everything for a cooling breeze. On the older Volkswagen models that are not fitted with a blower, the temperature rises quickly as soon as you come to a stop. Since Volkswagen was not the only car with this problem, Hella was one of the first companies to develop a loose fan that attaches to the windshield with a suction cup and creates a refreshing breeze. Today it is almost impossible to find an original Hella fan from that era, and if you do find one, you pay a high price for it.

This vintage fan is a perfect copy of the original and attaches to the windshield with a suction cup in the same way. Of course you can also mount it elsewhere, as long as the surface is smooth. The fan has a single speed and is powered via the cigarette lighter.
