At every service it is necessary to clean or replace the oil strainer. Many Type 1 and Type 3 engines have no drain plug, so the oil has to be drained by unscrewing the cover, which is almost impossible without spilling oil.

This complete set is fitted with a collector plate with a drain plug, so the oil can be drained cleanly. This drain plug also has a magnet that prevents metal chips being pumped with the oil into the engine block, where they would cause engine damage.

This complete kit is supplied with sump plate, drain plug, gaskets, nuts and oil strainer.
