If you want to fit the radio out of sight and still operate it, this glove box is a godsend.

This glove box has a straight recess in which you can fit the modern radio. When you close the glove box, everything is out of sight, and you can fill the existing radio hole by placing a classic radio in it.

To fit it, you have to move the clamping bracket - with which the glove box is clamped against the dashboard - to the side (wide part left or right) of the new radio housing. To do this you have to fasten the bracket slightly differently than the original.
The housing is made of smooth, black plastic.
