At the time Luxaflex invented a new form of curtains, there were numerous companies that applied this new form of blinds in the car. For almost every car brand there was a rear window blind to keep out the heat.

Nowadays it is an accessory from long-gone times, no longer found in a modern car, but for our air-cooled Volkswagen it is still available.

The set consists of two aluminum base elements, clamped between the window rubbers with an adjustable part. To adjust the angle, the metal slats are clamped into the hooks of the base elements.

All hooks are connected to the base element, so that all slats can be adjusted at the same time from almost closed to fully open. The base elements are not connected to each other, so use both hands when adjusting.
