The metal frame of the Volkswagen Beetle convertible, in which the wooden trim in front of the rear window is mounted, is in many cases badly rusted and deformed.

This new frame is fitted with plastic parts for model years from 1974 and pressed wood for the older models up to 1974.

The frame is for model years from 1974, while the model for the older years up to 1974 is made of stainless steel - with this material you will never have problems again.

Install the frame correctly. The area with the cut-outs for the wiring of the rear window heater (if fitted) must face down.

Tip: first check whether the size of the frame matches the size of the rear window, as it regularly happens that the rear window no longer matches the model year of the car.
