When the jacking point has lost its strength through rust, it bends more easily. We have two solutions for this problem: one mainly for restoration and one only for repair:

4004810 Loose jack support: If you are restoring or want to carry out the repair so that it is invisible later, a jack support is available separately. This matches the original, including the thickness of the metal; with it you replace the old jack support.

4000810 Jack support with chassis reinforcement: Intended purely for repair. This jacking point includes part of the edge plate, which can cover a cracked or rusted piece of the floor pan. This support immediately gives the jack support more strength (which is often necessary during repairs). In many cases not only the jack support is bent, but the bottom of the tube member and the floor where the support is welded on are no longer in good condition either.
