When tuning your carburetor(s), preferably on a dyno, in most cases you need to adjust the jetting to get the most possible power out of your engine.

For the most common Weber/EMPI, Dellorto and Solex/Brosol carburetor types there is a wide range of jets. If the right size is not among them, you can always adapt your existing jets or an approximate jet with a reamer.

Checking is the key to success. Never assume that what is stated on the packaging is correct - always check. This also applies to fitting the jets: before fitting, verify the size, not just what is printed on them, but also measure them with a gauge.
