For the Volkswagen Beetle the pop-out rear side windows were an optional factory accessory that, because of the price and our climate, was not very popular, but in countries with higher temperatures it was a very popular accessory.

Before new pop-out sets came on the market, used pop-out windows were brought to Europe en masse from various hot regions, which drove prices up - at a time when demand exceeded supply. With the arrival of these window sets the situation has changed; why spend a fortune on an unrestored, usually incomplete set of windows when they are available completely new.

On the deluxe versions all preparations for fitting are present; on the Mexican-produced Beetle 1200 base versions, holes for hinges and locks must be drilled - not that this is much work, but it must be done.

The kits are supplied almost complete; only the final finishing on the body is missing. Add this supplement (available separately in our shop).

Attention! If an additional set of rubber window seals is supplied, it is advisable to use these instead of the old ones to achieve a better seal.
