When replacing the rear axle seal, care must be taken not to deform the running surface on which the spacer ring is fitted. The running surface must be free of corrosion, pitting or other damage, otherwise the seal will leak.

Unfortunately many people only discover this after the seal has already been changed several times and the quality of the seal is called into question.

This is the outer spacer ring of the wheel bearing, not to be confused with the thinner inner ring behind the wheel bearing.

They are only suitable for models with swing axles and are of excellent quality.
