End edge trim for headliner B-pillar.

Volkswagen deluxe buses and Volkswagen Beetles can be recognised by the headliner, which not only covers the roof but also extends to the sides. In the case of a Volkswagen Bus this was the case on the versions intended for passenger transport; on the Volkswagen Beetle it was the more expensive versions falling under Volkswagen codes 113 and 114.

These end edges are made of soft PVC and the rounded edge is hollow inside as originally.

On the Volkswagen Bus they are located between the roof section and the side sections, to finish off the seam between these parts. This trim has a length of about 695 cm, which is enough for the complete VW Bus.

On the Volkswagen Beetle they are intended for the edge against the B-pillar (lock side). When you fit a new headliner, these end edges come pre-fitted on the headliner as standard, but up to 7/1967 this was not standard - the edge was separate from the headliner.

These edges are therefore intended for the perfectionists among us, or for anyone whose original needs replacing.
