This headliner set has been classified as B-quality, as it does not match the original. It has been adapted for easy fitting and designed to fit a whole range of years. This was made possible by adjusting the number of headliner bows (the number does not necessarily have to match the one originally fitted) and the parts around the windows have fewer seams.

The advantage of this headliner over the A-quality headliner is the easy fitting, but this is still a difficult job for which a lot of time must be allowed.

If you want a headliner that matches the original, choose A-quality, not only because of the perfect fit, but also because the vinyl used is of better quality.

The headliner is that of the deluxe versions, meaning that besides the roof area the sides of the B-pillar, the rear side window frames and the area around the rear window are also covered.

If you own a base-model VW Beetle (only the roof is covered) and want to fit a deluxe headliner, bear in mind that the roof is not designed for this and you have to fit some additional strips.

Do not forget to order spray adhesive. This is the only type of adhesive suitable for this purpose.
