If your fuel cap is still in good condition but only the seal is worn, loose seals are available for a number of fuel caps. These seals are the same size as the original. The choice of material has also largely stayed the same, namely cork or composite paper (asbestos substitute). Over the years there have been several manufacturers producing fuel caps, so per period you may come across different models, all suitable for the stated year (but they may differ in details, including the size of the seal). When selecting the seal it is therefore important to use the stated dimensions to make sure the seal also fits your fuel cap. The first size is the inner diameter and the second size is the outer diameter of the seal.

If your year is not mentioned, or if the dimensions do not match, there is no other option than to buy a completely new cap. If a seal matches the complete fuel cap we supply, the order number of that seal is also stated.
