Gasket Fuel Tap

If you own a Beetle, Karmann Ghia or Bus with a fuel tap (486), you have to clean or even replace the fuel filter in the tank (4484) or the filter housing (4485) regularly. It is important that when reassembling the cleaned or new filter, the whole thing is refitted liquid-tight; here it is necessary to fit a new sealing ring. On cars up to 1955 this is a rubber seal for the filter housing; in later years it is a fibre ring between the strainer and the tank. Supplied each.
