Fuel caps are available for all models and years. They are available without lock and, for some years, with lock supplied with two keys.

As an additional check when ordering, the lock type and/or the diameter of the filler neck is stated for some caps. The diameter of the filler neck largely corresponds to the diameter of the seal.

These high-quality fuel caps are supplied with seals; on some models seals are also available separately.

Note: Up to 7/1967 there were three different fuel tanks for the Volkswagen Beetle and Karmann Ghia, so also three different caps. In the 1970s Volkswagen standardised by supplying all tanks with the same fuel cap, for which a cap from a VW Bus was used. The replacement tanks 03089, 00492 or 00483 that we offer are the same as those supplied by Volkswagen at the time, so they also use the fuel cap of a VW Bus (00485).
