Fuel gauge sender, electric.

If you can no longer rely on your fuel gauge, or if it always shows "full" or "empty", it may be necessary to replace the sender (float) fitted on top of the fuel tank. First check whether the gauge still works properly by holding the connection wire against the chassis (ground). The gauge should then show a full fuel tank (only with electric floats). Repairing an electric float is not possible; replacement is the only solution.

Most fuel floats are supplied with the gasket included. If this is not the case, you can order it separately.

Note: On a number of floats you can choose between different qualities. If you choose B-quality, this can affect the accuracy of the reading and the service life. These floats are therefore excluded from any form of warranty.
