Bumper horns were available on the Volkswagen Beetle models as a luxury feature, while on the Karmann Ghia they were fitted as standard up to 7/1971.

The horns are intended to protect the bumper in small collisions, but are now often fitted as an extra accessory to preserve the classic look. For the Karmann Ghia only one model is available, while for the Volkswagen Beetle three models are available depending on the year and/or bumper.

Warning: With chrome bumper horns it is always necessary to maintain them properly. If you neglect maintenance, rust can form. With stainless steel bumper horns this is not the case. You can be sure they will never rust. Due to the additional chrome layer applied, there is no noticeable difference between stainless steel and steel.
