Heater Channel End Caps Rear

Rear heater channel end caps made of stainless steel.

On the Beetles from 1969 to 1985 there is a hole at the back of the tube member, through which the tube member can be inspected on the inside and treated with preservative. On most cars this hole is not visible, because a previous owner has repaired the tube member and did not take into account that there should be a hole there. Originally these are the untreated metal plugs, which are defective in most cars - partly because they are in the most critical rust area of the car. With these new end caps this will no longer bother you. They are 100% identical to the original, except that the end caps themselves are made of stainless steel and the clip of galvanized spring steel.

Attention: The end caps are 100% identical to the original (diameter 22.8 mm). If you use imitation sheet-metal parts, it can happen that holes are present that do not match the original size.
