If you buy an oil pressure gauge, you also need a sender, which is fitted in place of the oil pressure switch. The VDO and Cronomac instruments are supplied without a sender.

Cronomac uses VDO internally, so you also have to use a VDO sender.

VDO senders are combined with an oil pressure switch and can therefore be fitted in place of the existing oil pressure switch without using an adapter.

Note: The oil pressure sender must have the same range as the oil pressure gauge.
