Central aluminum intake manifold for Weber IDF | Dellorto DRLA.
Models: T1 dual-port engines.

With one of these manifolds it becomes possible to centrally place a twin Weber or Dellorto carburetor and a two-stage Weber carburetor. It is often claimed that fitting a central Weber or Dellorto is not possible, but the opposite is the case. Only craftsmanship is required for the correct setting. We must add that fitting side-mounted carburetors is a better option in terms of handling and performance, but against this a central carburetor is much cheaper and delivers more power than the standard fitted one.

Both manifolds are usually made of aluminum, to retain the heat well. If this is not present, carburetor icing occurs in the colder periods. Both models are supplied with the required gaskets and mounting hardware. As an extra it is necessary to use the manifold end bends of a 1600cc Type 1 engine; if you do not have these (1300cc end bends have too small an inner diameter for the central manifold), they are also available new (2107).

All manifolds are only suitable for Type 1 engines; for Type 4 engines a complete Weber DFEV carburetor set is available (42121).

2103 : suitable for Weber DFEV, DFAV, DFV. Large carburetor: 32/36 mm (recommended air filter 2157)

2104 : suitable for Weber IDF, Dellorto DRLA. Large carburetor: 40/44/48 mm (recommended air filter 2158)

Some of the supplied gaskets are also available separately. If the gasket you need is not listed, you have to cut it yourself from gasket paper. The manifold heat tubes of manifold 2103 (Weber DFEV, DFAV, DFV) are also available separately, in case they no longer have a passage due to excessive carbon deposits.
