To hold the rocker arm in place under all circumstances, a spring washer was fitted.

During a rebuild you cannot hold worn parts in place. The spring washer (lock washer) has lost its elasticity over the years, so it is recommended to replace it together with the thrust washers (available separately from us).

For each rocker arm you need one spring washer; to replace all the spring washers on all the rocker arms you need a total of eight.
