Adapter Dipstick Holder from Type 3 to Type 1

Adapter / conversion set for the dipstick holder.
From Type 3 engines to Type 1 engines.

If you want to fit a Type 3 engine in a Volkswagen Beetle, this is possible by fitting all the parts of a Type 1 Beetle engine onto the Type 3 long block. All parts fit together, except that there is no dipstick but a hole in the base of the crankcase. This adapter closes this hole and is fitted with a dipstick tube that matches the tube of the Type 1 engine, or with a chrome tube.

It is supplied with a gasket, but without the dipstick.
