Fitting chrome-molybdenum studs becomes important on high-performance engines that have to cope with high compression. Due to the high compression a stud can sometimes break spontaneously. Not only the right purchase for high-performance engines, but also for standard engines these studs are much better than the original. Especially when the old engine has already overheated, so that the studs are more or less stretched and the correct pre-load can therefore never be reached.

The thread is not cut on the studs but semi-rolled and hardened, so that you get no burrs and the nut runs smoothly over it even under pre-load. This is important for the correct tightening torque.

Available both in the standard length and 13 mm longer for long-stroke engines.

Supplied in a complete set including hardened washers to original specification with the correct nuts, which also meet the original specifications. These can also be bought separately in our shop.
