The name gives it away a little: the "Quiet Pack" mufflers produce a quiet but deep tone. These are "retro" mufflers introduced in the mid-60s.

There are two models, the "Single Quiet Pack", where the outlet points to the right, and the "Dual Quiet Pack", where the outlet is double (to the left and right).

All exhausts are available in black transport paint, and the most common ones also have a ceramic coating. The black transport paint is intended to prevent rust in our warehouse. If you want the muffler to stay black, you have to treat it regularly with heat-resistant paint. Immediately after using the muffler the paint flakes off noticeably. As an option you can choose a muffler with a chrome ceramic coating for some models. Due to the high processing temperature of 650 an impenetrable layer against corrosion forms, which extends the service life and lowers the temperature.

Please note: The ceramic layer provides a longer service life but is no guarantee against rust from the inside or outside; if the ceramic layer is damaged, it is not stainless steel.

The black mufflers have a chrome tip, as does the ceramic-coated version. Supplied with mounting hardware and a gasket between muffler and header (also available separately as a spare part).

As with many sport mufflers, you need more than just the muffler. You still need the header that connects the cylinder heads to the exhaust. Caution! If you already have a header, check the distance between the mounting holes of the muffler. It must be around 58 mm and the upper mounting hole must be at 1 o''clock (except for Type 3, which is at 11 o''clock). If these details are correct, it is no guarantee that the muffler fits your existing header. We therefore recommend ordering a matching header straight away, so that you at least have the certainty of a matching exhaust combination.
