General information: Baja, buggy and trike exhaust systems
For these kinds of cars there are special exhaust systems that, like header exhaust systems, provide more power. Because the design of the exhaust system is often important, these exhaust systems cannot be fitted to a standard Volkswagen Beetle. On the Baja and buggy exhaust systems it is assumed that the entire exhaust system is visible. The design is such that the entire exhaust system forms a nice set; some exhaust systems have chrome parts. All exhaust systems are supplied complete with gaskets, but without sealing rings and brackets at the heat exchangers. The heat exchanger hose can be connected directly to the heat exchanger. Take an aluminum hose (01095), which can withstand the heat of the exhaust. Since trikes and many buggies no longer have a heating system, there are exhaust systems where the heat is no longer used, which also releases more power. All exhaust systems in black paint have a transport paint, intended to prevent rust formation in our warehouses. If you want to keep your exhaust in good condition and black, you have to treat it regularly with a heat-resistant paint.

Mega dual exhaust
A very popular exhaust system for buggies and trikes. This mega dual exhaust is fully chrome-plated and follows the lines of the dual exhaust, but thickens them at the ends. The sound is loud and powerful. To achieve maximum engine power, no heating is required. As with the dual exhaust, the straight pipe hangs a little further back. This is because the engine cylinders of the left and right VW Beetle are not equal and both exhausts have the same length (for maximum power increase). The internal mufflers are supplied separately, so you can always choose whether to drive with or without mufflers.

Tip: Fasten the mufflers with a bolt and lock nut (a hole must be drilled).
