Where the heater cables exit the housing, these heater cable grommets are located. They prevent moisture and dirt from getting in between the cable and the metal tube. If the cable is stuck in the metal tube, take a firm piece of wire, fit it in the chuck of the drill and try to free the tube again. If this seal is missing, sooner or later you will be faced with rusty cables. Therefore check the condition of the seals at every major service and replace them if cracks appear. Supplied in pairs.
