Cable Cover Trunk

Protective cover for the wiring in the trunk.
VW Beetle 1300 | 1500 - 8/67 to 7/69.

On most Beetles and all Karmann Ghias the trunk board also protects the wiring, but this is not standard for every model year.

If your trunk does not run all the way under the windshield, so that your wiring is open and exposed, then at least fit this panel for protection like the original.

Do you no longer want to assemble your trunk, but do you want your wiring neatly hidden? Then this cover is also the solution. Bear in mind that the stated model years do not apply to you. For a 1200, 1300 and 1500 Beetle with a trunk lid with ventilation slots you need panel 4000571; if you do not have ventilation slots, choose panel 4000570.

The stated model years indicate when Volkswagen fitted this panel as standard in combination with trunk cardboard.

The panels are made of black plastic, which guarantees a longer service life compared to the original cardboard.
