Depending on the year of manufacture, the holders on the bumper may need to be adjusted slightly. In convertibles, the upper brackets, which in sedans are attached to the air vents in the body, have to be set a little lower so that they now fit into the vents in the hood.

The roof rack was the first accessory available for the car. Things weren't much different for our classic Volkswagen. Several manufacturers have developed ways to carry additional luggage. Unfortunately, most manufacturers have now stopped producing luggage racks for our classic car, but fortunately there are still specialists who bring reproductions or their own creations onto the market.
