Depending on the model year, the brackets on the bumper must be slightly adjusted. On convertibles, the upper brackets, which on the saloon are fixed in the air slots of the body, must be set a little lower so that they now fit into the ventilation slots of the engine lid.

The roof rack was the first accessory available for the car. For our classic Volkswagen this was not much different. Several manufacturers developed ways to carry extra luggage. Unfortunately most manufacturers have now stopped producing luggage racks for our classic, but fortunately there are still specialists who bring reproductions or their own creations to the market.
