The accelerator pedal has a lot to endure, especially when the years start to count, which is the case with our classic. A bent, rusted or broken accelerator pedal is common. If acceleration does not go as it should, check not only the condition of the accelerator pedal but also everything attached to it. Do not keep driving with it; that means trouble on the road.
