If you decide to fit a seat from another car, or if you have bought a bucket seat from our range, it is advisable not to tinker with your old seat frame (sawing, welding, modifying and so on), but to use this universal seat frame.
This frame has two rails that can be adjusted forwards and backwards with an adjusting lever. Both rails are locked when the seat is in the desired position (on many seat frames only 1 rail is locked).
The frame comes with two universal plates that can be mounted on the sliders so they fit any seat, without depending on the standard mounting positions on the sliders themselves (additional mounting holes may therefore be required).
All fastening bolts and nuts for fixing the seat to the frame are also included. It may be that your seat has to be fitted with different bolts and/or nuts and that you cannot use the supplied hardware.
