If you own a Volkswagen Beetle with a flip front, you can forget the original tank. In that case you have to get rid of the fuel tank located directly behind the dashboard. This tank can of course also be fitted in many other places, for example in a Volkswagen Bus above the engine (refuelling through the engine lid) and in buggies behind the seats (above the engine). The fuel tank is made of polished stainless steel; rust or corrosion is out of the question, you have the certainty of a fuel tank you never have to replace and that shines at all times, provided you polish it regularly. The fuel tank has a capacity of about 40 litres, a length of 84 cm and a diameter of 25.5 cm. It is supplied complete with stainless steel mounting straps and a tank cap.
