Repair kit for the brake caliper, sold each.
10/71 to 9/72 (ATE).
Suitable for all brake calipers with a piston diameter of 40 mm.
If your brake calipers lose brake fluid or the pistons are seized, you can buy new brake calipers.
The oil channels are sealed with rubber rings; never use universal rings, but only the rings intended for this. These rings are not part of the repair kits below; if you need them, you must order them separately.
You can only remove the pistons with compressed air. Do not use a screwdriver or hammer, you will only damage the piston. Make sure to secure the piston (e.g. with a hose clamp) and apply compressed air to the brake hose or brake line connection. The loose piston will come out. When one piston has been removed, seal the hole with a cloth and place an adhesive sleeve over it, to avoid losing air pressure and giving the other piston too much pressure. Use brake cylinder assembly paste on the piston inside the caliper, seal around the piston, and reassemble.
The brake caliper repair kit is intended for one brake caliper.
Note: The brake caliper brand and the shape of the brake pads must match. Compare this with what is fitted to your car. It often happens that a brake caliper of a different brand has been fitted and the model year no longer matches.
