This gauge replaces the original dipstick and is fitted with a temperature sensor. The advantage: you measure exactly in the middle of the oil reserve in the crankcase, which is very accurate. The disadvantage is that you have wires on your dipstick.

The sender can also be used for brands other than VDO, but check whether your instrument shows the correct temperature by testing it in boiling water. If the gauge shows 100 C, then the combination of gauge and sender is perfect.

Use your old dipstick to determine the correct insertion depth; this dipstick is adjustable for several models.

Suitable for 6 and 12 volt.
