Strut Brace

Strut brace.

If you have a 1302 or 1303 Beetle, then a strut brace is available. This is not an unknown part in the racing world; it provides fewer torsional forces in the body. It is fitted in the trunk on the mounting bolts of the struts, thus always keeping the struts well apart, which is a very good improvement for the torsion in the car. Made of solid steel and finished with a red coating.

Suggestions:
To get more rigidity into the car, a strut brace alone is not enough; you also have to work on the road holding. Look at the following suggestions (only applies to the 1302 and 1303):
1387 or 1388 : thicker front anti-roll bar
1393 : rear anti-roll bar
4390 : chassis torsion bar kit
