Mounting clamps / mounting rings for the exhaust.

When replacing the heat exchanger or the exhaust pipe, in most cases the mounting materials can no longer be reused.

Sealing rings must always be replaced, as they are used only once. But brackets, nuts and bolts are often no longer fit for use either.

The assembly mentioned here includes all the parts required to fasten the heat exchanger to the exhaust and/or the exhaust pipe to the exhaust, and applies only to Type 1 engines.

With one set it is even possible to choose between a standard mounting set (galvanized steel) or a stainless steel version.

With the latter set you are protected against rust forever. If you have bought a stainless steel exhaust, heat exchanger replacement and/or exhaust pipes, or plan to, also take the stainless steel mounting set, otherwise you will always have rust - which is exactly why a stainless steel exhaust system is designed.
