Torn drive shaft boots not only lead to rejection at inspection, but also to loss of gearbox oil. Gearbox oil lubricates the gearbox and the rear wheel bearings and is crucial for the operation of your VW.

The factory-fitted axle boots are made of a single piece. To replace them the shafts have to be removed. With these split boots you save a lot of time during fitting. You cut off the old boot and fit the split boot with the seam horizontally to the rear to avoid leaks; it is also advisable to use a liquid sealant along the seam.
