Fuel Pump Cover Billet Style

Fuel pump cover, billet style.
VW Beetle (except 25 + 30 hp engines).

When an electric fuel pump is fitted, the existing hole in the crankcase has to be sealed. For this purpose three different cover plates are available, all with the main purpose of sealing the fuel pump hole. The aluminium cover plates are supplied with a gasket, while the stainless steel one has to be ordered separately (available from us).

43691 : cover plate made of stainless steel for Type 4 engines
If you only want to seal the fuel pump hole, this is the ideal cover plate. Made of stainless steel and the only one also available for Type 4 engines. Supplied without gasket, take this extra. Fitting is easy; remove the threaded ends and fasten the cover plate with M8 bolts (not included).

4691 : billet cover plate
Does no more or less than the stainless steel one, but provides a perfect finish. This cover plate is made of thick aluminium with the familiar billet-style ribs on top. Supplied complete with gasket and Allen screws countersunk into the plate.

1691 : cover plate with crankcase breather option
Besides sealing the fuel pump opening, this cover plate has an additional function: it is fitted with a crankcase breather connection with M12 thread. The cover plate is not yet drilled, so you can connect the crankcase breather afterwards at any time if you think you do not need it at first. This plate, like the billet one, is made of aluminium and is supplied with a gasket. It is fitted directly to the crankcase with the existing M8 nuts (with which the fuel pump was fastened).
