The original clutch disc was originally designed for a maximum power of 50 hp. If the engine power is increased by a few hp, you have nothing to worry about. But if the engine reaches more than just a few hp compared with the original power, you have to make a few changes to make sure you can use that power.

Replacing the standard clutch disc with this reinforced "Kush-Lock" version is the right choice for road use. If you are driving off-road or at drag races, you had better use a ceramic clutch disc.

Kush-Lock clutch discs withstand much more heat thanks to their braided brass lining. In addition the hub is wrapped in a damping material to absorb vibrations. Combine this clutch disc with a reinforced pressure plate and you have the perfect configuration for road and track use.
